EWA is looking for volunteers and would love to hear from anyone who would like to get involved with encouraging mobility through activity in the East Sutherland and Easter Ross areas. Training will be given.

We are also in need of volunteers in the Helmsdale area to help in various activity groups currently running in the Community Centre. Training provided.

Anybody who would like to help us out by providing some music, singing or storytelling would also be much appreciated.

We also have opportunities for volunteers to help with fundraising, webpage management and administration.

Fundraising volunteer

We are looking for someone to work from home who can help us with fundraising.
We need somebody who is familiar with computers and some knowledge of fundraising. We need somebody to search online for appropriate funding opportunities which we can apply for and to help fill in the applications. We need somebody who can help with local fundraising involving our service users.

We need people who can use their initiative and work on their own.  They must have a good sense of humour and be able to communicate well. We will offer help and training if needed and volunteer expenses agreed on will be paid. Our volunteer would be asked to attend our projects to get a feel for what we do so they have an idea of what we’re about.  We would help with transport if necessary.

Time set after discussing what’s needed. Possibly 4 hours a week to start then reducing as site is made current.

Opportunity to start asap and ongoing. We would ask our volunteers to come to an easy going meeting to discuss the opportunity. They would start after the PVG clearance.

Please contact us through the contact page.

Thank you
